PacketWriterCreate Method (Stream, PacketLock, Endian, BinaryTextEncoding)

Creates an expandable PacketWriter writing to a data stream. The packet will expand to accomodate the data written into it.

Syntax

stream: Type: System.IOStream
The stream to write the packet to.
packetLock: Type: Demo3D.IOPacketLock
A packet lock that controls access to the underlying stream (or null). packetLock must be null (no locking), or unlocked.
endian: Type: Demo3D.IOEndian
The endian format of the data (or null if not known).
textEncoding: Type: Demo3D.IOBinaryTextEncoding
The encoding of of strings in the packet (or null if not known).
