PacketWriterExtensionsWriteAsDouble Method

Writes a 64bit double floating point number at the current position in the buffer. The object is first converted using BinaryConvert.ChangeType(val, TypeCode.Double). ChangeType(Object, Type, BinaryConvertConversionType) The current position is advanced by 8 bytes.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IPacketWriter. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
