Writes a string at the current position in the buffer. The current position is advanced by the number of bytes written.

Parameters

writer
Type: Demo3D.IOIDataWriter
The data writer.
val
Type: SystemObject
The value to write.
encoding
Type: Demo3D.IOBinaryTextEncoding
The text encoding.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IDataWriter. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
